Your can of worm gave me an idea. Empty can full of gummy worms to set on my desk. It would be something for folks to ask about while they are in my office waiting. Oh I do network computer support, in a near by larger city, so theres lots of visitors. I can see it now. "Whats that" and I say "it's the can of worms the last person opened when you deleted that same sys file." Thanks from really dry, as in no rain for the last five months, No Trees, Texas USA

Thanks, mate. I especially liked your article on the candle, and I *will* be trying several of your recipes. All the best from Boise, Idaho, USA.

Came across a site that linked to another site that had linked to here that talked about the lard lamp. After I was done learning about that, I noticed the recipes section and had to check it out. There's more than one thing listed that I want to try, even though I'll have to transfer the measurements to standard measurements. Glad I came across your site!

Wonderful site, Thank you very much.
Even though the climate around where I live is dryer and many of the foods you gather are not to be found, your general attitude toward life and nature is refreshing.
Keep up the great work,
Hello, Mike;
I've been following your site for years. You taught me the basics of 7-cord braiding and loom weaving (VERY welcome for bag making - I've knitted for decades and bags just take too long), and I've tried many of your crafts with some lovely results. I was especially happy to see your Tin Can Boxes were featured on the Instructables site as Drink-Can-Tinwork. I AM a bit confused, though....do you also go by the name "mange-tout?" I thought you might use the name as an homage to your little Snow Pea boat ... which I WILL try to re-create just as soon as I learn to swim. ;)
Thanks for many UN-wasted hours, and making long Northern nights so much more fun!
Love and Cheers from Canada,
Bette
Hi, I wanted to take a moment to thank you for sharing all of your inventive enthusiasm. I read nearly every one of your projects and have filed a few away in my head for future opportunities to repurpose old materials. The diversity of your inquisition was unexpected (NO one expects the spani...er 'atomic shrimp' inquisition) and I just wanted to say how great your site was as a platform to share with those of us hungry for fresh ideas. Hailing from Washington state in the U.S.A. Again, thanks for sharing. ~Gabriel.
P.s. Great little factoid about the energy saved recycling 100 soda cans equaling the consumption of a family home for a month. If i can find a source to verify that I'm gonna spread the word. That is something people can relate to. Portland, Oregon, my nearest city just got voted the greenest city on earth for it's size.

What a great site you have, love the randomness of your various projects, can't even remember why I first visited, but now have my own list of projects to complete.....beats watching the TV...cheers and best regards, Hampshire Matt.
