Wonderfully charming website!
I, too, arrived here via the lovely lime tree. Thank you for sharing your wonder and curiosity with the world!

If you really want to have "fun" with children and purple cabbage juice, add some to a spritzer and spray onto eggs while cooking. Eggs are alkaline the the die will turn green. One will end up "green eggs and ham!"

Great website! I had a lot of fun reading, and you've given me so many things to try! Thanks!

Do some research on making lacto-fermented blueberry soda. I didn't have good luck with it, but I think you might and I'd like to see another person's go at it.

Hello and thank you - I have been ordering lime flowers on line and thought there were no lime trees around here. Now I have identified the tree, the flowers and bracts and look forward to harvesting them!

I make Lavender, lemon balm and lime flower tea and it's great with a little drop of honey. I harvest the lavender and lemon balm from my garden and will soon be harvesting lime flower from trees close by.

Elderflower and chickweed! Thanks, more things I have been planning to experiment with.

Great site many thanks Janie :)

Back Again! Recipes, YUM! Love the cheese curd. Have looked through other sections of your website since my first post earlier today and I have to agree with others this site is just amazing. I rarely leave comments but this site is just so worthy of a comment I just couldn't resist it. Thanks for so many great ideas and smiles! Life is just great if we 'stop to smell the roses'.

Hi from Australia! I stumbled across your fabulous site whilst Googling image ideas for recycling aluminium drink cans. I've always been fascinated with little boxes so it caught my eye, recycling cans into something very attractive and useful, instead of the 'same old same old' ideas put forward on the web. That was going to be the end of it until today by chance I thought I'd check out your other items. How amazing; just yesterday I was looking around for some cord or braid in craft shops and couldn't find what I wanted and voila found your braiding project, just perfect! I already have all I need at home to make the braid so can't wait to get started. What an exceptional collection of useful professional-looking and varied recycling ideas! The French knitting project took me back to my childhood days when we used to do it at school using a wooden cotton reel with nails hammered in the top. There is something very satisfying about recycling and making items instead of just buying them from the shop. Thank you so much for sharing your expertise with the world. The very best I've come across on the web.

Fine website indeed. I was just sharing with a friend about my lovely small water feature that is made from clay collected in Central NY. Look forward to your next attempt at making your clay creations.

What a great website, so good to see someone with a mind to try things! Yes, pewter casting with cuttlefish is easy and worth a go!

I like your style Mr Shrimp!
Site got recommended to me when I enquired about making a bilberry rake - yours looks just about right and I should imagine that there will be two of them in the world before the summer is out.

Nice one.
J.

BTW - I saw a pair of blue nitrile gloves the other day - simply abandoned by the road! Tsk.
