The Recipe

Ingredients:

Method:

After initial kneading and proving (leaving to rise), knead the bread dough again and roll it out into a large circle about 1cm thick.

Slice some cheese into sticks and place them near the edge of the pizza base - fold the outer edge over the cheese and press it down to seal the cheese inside. Instead of hard cheese, you could use cream cheese and garlic, rolled-up sandwich ham or anything else you like (I wonder what it would be like with hot dog sausages in there...)

Preheat your oven to 180C (approximately 350F or Gas Mark 4)

Transfer the pizza base onto a lightly-oiled baking tray and add whatever toppings you prefer.

Place the tray in the oven for 10 minutes (or until it's done to your liking), then remove and serve straight away - hot from the oven.
